At THE CHAPEL OF CHRIST'S STILLNESS, our mission is to spread love and kindness through religious teachings. We believe that everyone deserves to feel the love of God and our goal is to make that possible for as many people as we can.
Founded in 2005, THE CHAPEL OF CHRIST'S STILLNESS started as a small community gathering in a local church. Over the years, our community has grown and we are now proud to have members from all over the world.

We offer a wide range of services including weekly religious services, youth programs, community outreach events, and more. Our goal is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for all who seek guidance and support.

If you need spiritual rest, peace and fulfilment or have concerns about the future, we can offer you the opportunity to come to a beautiful, tranquil place where you can rest awhile and leave feeling replenished mentally, physically and spiritually.

A peaceful place to sit,
rest, pray and reflect.
Surrounded by nature and bird song
'Be still and know that I am God'

We had such a spiritually enhancing weekend, we will come again.
It was a blessing to stay in the vision that God has given you.
The Chapel of Christ's Stillness and grounds - who could want for more.

We understand that when the Chapel was no longer in use, the end wall was removed and it was subsequently used as a tractor shed and then for housing cattle. Some of the original features remained, ie the muslin draped ceiling, electric light fittings and the high windows.
The decision was made in 2019 to replace the derelict building

The decision was made in 2019 to replace the derelict building with a modern timber Chapel - 'The Chapel of Christ's Stillness' - on the same footprint, incorporating the original brick walls and adding modern features in keeping with the ambience of its spiritual past. It is set on its own grounds of peace and tranquillity within an area of outstanding natural beauty.

You can visit for a few hours, or stay a few days - the choice is yours. You can visit as an individual or within a group. We do not charge but ask you to prayerfully consider a donation towards running costs as we are not funded.
